COIMBRA
“Coimbra canta, Braga reza, Lisboa diverte-se e o Porto trabalha.”
This famous saying about Portuguese cities credits Coimbra as the city that sings. Rightfully so. Students from the University of Coimbra, founded in 1290, still stroll the cobbled streets after dark, guitars in hand, serenading beneath windows.
Like its namesake city, this original Olympia Opta from 1960 sits in tradition. Dark wood with a deep, even grain, clean lines, and subtle golden accents. Behind the façade, space is organized, record storage or bar to one side, a pull-out turntable to the other, inviting use with reverence but without ceremony.
Coimbra’s spirit is everlasting.
