SAO PAULO
Sao Paulo resembles the dinner table in a house of a large family, where there’s always room for one more. The most populous city outside of Asia inspired thousands of songs like “Sampa Midnight” or “Trem das Onze”, but the most famous one is Caetano Veloso’s “Sampa” - an ode to the corner of Ipiranga Street with São João Avenue. For this Original Grundig Majestic from 1970, we took inspiration from the bustling city that breathes art and culture every second, namely the MASP (Sao Paulo Art Museum) with its rectangular form. Lindo, você não acha?*
*beautiful, don’t you think?
